Paul Long started his insurance career in Gardner, Kansas opening a Farmers Insurance Agency in 1999. After a year Paul received an offer to move back to his home town of Bolivar, Missouri to work for an independent agency. After leaving that agency and working for another agency, he opened The Paul Long Agency, LLC in February 2006. The Paul Long Agency is a full line Trusted Choice agency with 3 office staff, one producer in Stockton, Missouri, one full lines producer in the Bolivar office, and one senior products producer.

Paul has received many awards in his short time in the Industry such as several awards for top life insurance sales with Auto-owners, Auto-Owners Presidents Club, and MAIA Young Agent of the Year.

Paul has written an article for the Auto-Owners company magazine, The Emblem, entitled 'Life Insurance Cross Selling' and has also spoken at their agent advantage meetings.

Paul is very involved in his community since returning he is the past president of the Bolivar Chamber of Commerce, currently Vice President of the sheltered workshop, currently President of the local Rotary Club, board member of Bolivar Economic Coalition, and member on several other boards or committees in the community.

Paul has been married for 17 years to his wife Brenda whom is a registered nurse. Paul and Brenda have 3 children son, Blake (17) is a senior at Bolivar High School, son Nicholas (12), and daughter, Kennadie (10).
